那覇松山の繁華街で一番人気の沖縄そば「すばや」
私が沖縄に住みながらも意外と食べないのが沖縄のご当地グルメである。
沖縄に移り住んだ頃はもの珍しさ、そして美味しいと感じて沖縄料理にハマっていたこともあったが、
しばらくすると飽きてしまったというのが正直なところなのです。
しかし、沖縄でお酒を飲を呑んだ後、締めに何を食べるかというと選択肢は、
ラーメン、ステーキ、そしてご当地グルメである沖縄そばなのです。
先日、那覇の松山で沖縄そばと言えばココ！という、地元では知らない人が居ないのでは
ないかというぐらい有名な「すばや」に久しぶりに行ってきたので紹介します。
沖縄グルメではやっぱり沖縄そばが人気
沖縄そばは、観光客だけでなく地元沖縄県民からも大変人気です。
那覇市内には沖縄そばを食べられるところは沢山ありますが、
那覇で呑んだ後に沖縄そばを食べるとなると「すばや」に多くの方が流れ込みます。
「すばや」は松山の繁華街のほぼ中心地に位置することもあり、沖縄そばの人気店であります。
すばやは完全に呑み帰りの客をターゲットにしているのか、開店が22時という完全夜型営業なのです。
すばやの外観はこんな感じです。
ぶっちゃけ、看板が2つあるので「すばや」なのか「すばやー」なのか分かりません。。
誰か正解が分かる方いましたら教えてください。。
入り口には相田みつをの言葉。
「一生感動、一生青春」と書かれたのれんをくぐります。
お店の中はこんな感じです。
カウンター6席とテーブルが6つくらい？だったと思います。
全席喫煙OKです。
水はセルフサービス。
お店の中に入るとまずは食券を購入します。
基本食券ですが、大人数の場合などは後で纏めて支払う形にしてくれるなど、柔軟に対応してくれます。
今回はよもぎそばを注文しました。
よもぎは沖縄では「フーチバー」と呼ばれています。
沖縄そばといっても麺のタイプがいくつかあります。
太麺なのか細麺なのか？
ストレート麺なのかちぢれ麺なのか？
丸麺なのか平打ち麺なのか？
私は、沖縄そばの中でも「ちぢれ麺」が好きであり、
このすばやはちぢれ麺なので昔からついつい足を運んでしまいます。
5分位待つと、よもぎそばが運ばれてきます。
フーチバーは独特の苦味が強い為、苦手な方はまずは
沖縄そばかソーキそばを食べることをおすすめします。
いつも通り、出汁が良い感じに出ており美味しいです。
麺も相変わらず食べ応えのあるモチモチ感です。
三枚肉も柔らかくて美味しいです。
宮古そばを注文すると麺はストレートらしいですよ。
すばやは有名人も訪れるお店
すばやの店内には多くの方のサイン色紙が飾られています。
壁ギッシリに貼られています。
店内はおばあちゃんが2人で厨房を回していました。
大忙しなのか片付けが後回しになっていることもよくあります。
お世辞にも綺麗なお店とは言えませんが、評判にもなっている通り、味は間違いありません。
沖縄そばを食べるなら「すばや」で食べないと食べた気にならないというのが正直な気持ちです。
なんというか、他のお店も決して不味い訳ではなく美味しいのですが、
すばやは地元で評判の通り、やはり別格な感じを覚えました。
特に私は普段呑んだ後は、ラーメン派なのですが、
すばやであれば沖縄そばでも良いかな？
という気持ちになります。
松山周辺で呑んだ後など、夜に沖縄そばが食べたくなったら
是非一度は「すばや」を訪れてみてはいかがでしょうか。
