意外と知られていませんが、「沖縄県から持ちだしてはいけないもの」があります。

沖縄などの南西諸島に発生している病害虫の蔓延を防止する為に法律によって規制されています。

観光で沖縄を訪れた際は十分に注意しましょう。

沖縄県外に持ち出せない植物

沖縄から持ち出してはいけないもの
  • さつまいも（紅芋含む）
  • カンダバー（さつまいもの茎・葉）
  • ウンチェーバー（ヨウサイ）
  • アサガオの仲間
  • 柑橘類の苗・枝・葉
  • ゲッキツ、カレーリーフ

しかし、上記植物の加工品や果実、種子は自由に持ち出すことができます。

沖縄県外に持ち出せる植物

  • フルーツ全般マンゴー
    パパイヤ
    スターフルーツ
    パッションフルーツ
    などの南国フルーツ
  • 果菜類
    ゴーヤー
    ヘチマ など
  • タイモ
  • ハイビスカスの苗木

上記は一例となります。
さつまいもは蒸熱処理をすれば、カンキツ、ゲッキツ等は検査に合格をすれば持ち出せます。

離島、久米島に持ち込んではいけないもの

沖縄の離島 久米島

久米島では、平成25年にさつまいもの害虫であるアリモドキゾウムシが根絶されました。
久米島にこのアリモドキゾウムシを再侵入させないため、法律によって県外へ持ちだしてはいけないものは、久米島に持ち込んでもいけません。

・アリモドキゾウムシとは？
世界各地の熱帯、亜熱帯に分布している害虫です。
さつまいもが幼虫に食害されると、異臭と苦味が出て、食用はもちろんおこと、飼料としても利用することが出来なくなってしまいます。
