那覇の久米にある「カフェ沖縄式」の古酒カレーに大満足

古酒カレーを食べにカフェ沖縄式へ

前から気になっていた、那覇の久米にある「カフェ沖縄式」に行って来たので紹介します。

場所は若狭大通りと松山通りの交差点から50mくらいのところにあります。

カフェ沖縄式は、周りの建物とは異なる異色な雰囲気が漂っています。
外観はこんな感じです。

今日はこのカフェ沖縄式の看板メニューである古酒カレーを食べに来ました。

那覇久米「カフェ沖縄式」は土足厳禁

お店は土足厳禁なので入り口で靴を脱いでスリッパに履き替えます。
お店の中はアジアンテイスト漂う雰囲気ですが、BGMはピアノジャズが流れていました。

店内には飾り物や骨董品、お土産などがいたるところに置かれていて、見ているだけでも楽しいです。

沖縄関連の書籍もたくさん置いてありますので、一人でまったり読書をするなんてのも良さそうです。
周囲のお客さんでゆったり読書を楽しむ方も実際にいました。

沖縄関連の書籍がぎっしりです。
古本として売っているのもあるようです。

食卓は全て木のテーブルで、4〜6人掛けのテーブルが6つと、
4人掛けが２つ、2人掛けが１つありました。 カフェ沖縄式の木のテーブル

なんとこの木テーブル、お店の方が1年もかけて作ったそうです！

私は1人で行きましたが、ゆったりと6人掛けのテーブルに案内されました。

カフェ沖縄のカレーのメニューは、主に3つあります。

  • 古酒カレー　並1000円/大盛り1300円
  • 海人カレー　並1300円/大盛り1600円
  • あぐーカレー　並1300円/大盛り1600円

どれも美味しそうで迷いましたが、初めてという事で看板メニューの古酒カレー（大盛り）を注文。
ちなみにランチタイムは珈琲が付くそうです。

混んでいることもあったのか、20分ほど待たされたところで古酒カレーが運ばれてきます。

ターメリックライスの黄色味がいい感じに出ています。
そして、古酒カレーには、フランスパンが一切れついています。

早速、パンにカレーをつけていただきます。

いい感じに煮込まれて柔らかくなった三枚肉も最高です。

泡盛の風味が漂うカレーは、美味です。
まろやかで辛すぎないのにスパイスがしっかりと効きとっても上品な味わいです。

カフェ沖縄式の古酒カレー

トマト、牛乳、タマネギ、りんごが入っていて、15種類の以上の
厳選されたスパイスで作られているようです。
質感としてはシャバシャバなカレーです。

ターメリックライスも、それだけで味わえる美味しさです。
古酒カレー、期待を超えてかなり美味しいカレーです。

今回は初めてということもあり、看板メニューの古酒カレーを
いただきましたが、次回は海人カレー、あぐーカレーにチャレンジしたいと思います。

そして、今回は飲みそこねたぶくぶく珈琲もいただきたいと思います。
